How did you get your big break?
I was lucky to meet a funny but pretty dorky guy at university. Called Hamish Blake. I reckon we can track everything back to that moment.

What are daily news media habits?
Check Twitter. I follow all news broadcasters that I want to get the info from. Just having a look at it now…. it’s predominantly sport, but what else is there in the world?

Which living person do you most admire?
Probably my dad Mick. He’s an amazing primary school teacher, but also been a carer for mum for many, many years. I would’ve given up on her and put her in a home years ago!

Your guilty streaming pleasure?
My girlfriend Bec and I got addicted to Law & Order SVU. We kind of keep that on the down low.

Which phrase do you overuse?
Must Be Nice.

What did you want to do when you grew up?
I wanted to be an accountant. And I’m really pissed off that this entertainment business got in the way. There’s a lot of general ledgers out there that deserve to be balanced by me.
