Data centre specialist DXN has secured a $2.5 million contract extension from a cable system developer, SUB.CO.
SUB.CO has awarded the contract to DXN for additional fibre and civil works as a part of the Oman Australia cable system.
Additionally, DXN will provide design assistance and deliver the CLS Backhaul to SUB.CO.
The contract is an extension of the existing contract that was awarded to DXN in December last year which brings the total value of the contract to $4.45 million.
DXN chief executive Matthew Madden said the company was delighted to be selected by SUB.CO for the additional works for the Oman Australia Cable System.
“The contract with SUB.CO is the third extension to an existing contract announced in December 2020 and demonstrates the continued trust in our capability and teams’ performance in delivering,” Mr Madden said.
“We are really happy with the start to this financial year with our third major contract win bringing contract sales to $6.9 million.”
The contract is expected to be delivered by June 2022.
