Here is Zahra’s advice on how to achieve a mindset that can take us north of neutral to optimal:
Find The Show-Stopper
Zahra is fascinated with the journey of success, which path is optimal, and why many people willingly follow the wrong one. In her years of study and research, she found the biggest pitfall to be one’s own limiting beliefs. For Zahra, the first step to challenging our unconscious beliefs is developing the tools for self-awareness. “It’s about learning to quiet the mind and eliminate the noise. Taking a deeper look at yourself, figure out what you need and what is important to you, then discard the rest,” she says.
MORE FOR YOU
For example, a person who grows up in a house where money was always a concern and is suddenly doing well in life would still have a perpetual financial concern. It is part of the programming we are accustomed to that needs to be challenged and reset. Zahra shares her insight in her new bestselling book, 6 Weeks to Happy: The Ultimate Roadmap to Retrain Your Brain for Better Health, Greater Abundance, and Long Lasting Happiness.
Curate Your Own Formula To Success
Entrepreneurship is stressful. Each day, you are responsible for decisions that can make or break your business. Zahra says defining the reason for your purpose will generate the right kind of passion that keeps us committed to achieving success. “It’s essential to know your ‘why’ that keeps you and your team moving forward on those hard days when something you thought would do well falls short. It’s your passion that lets you adapt and succeed,” Zahra explains.
Our brain is equipped with a nervous system that sends us signals when we need to course-correct. “If you are able to do the right research and find a product that really meets a need, then you can find a way to deliver it in alignment with your passion,” she says. To find a winning product is to analyze the market’s demand and find a way to adapt your initial prototype to it.
Develop Conscious Leadership
According to Zahra, when it comes to business, there are many managers but very few great leaders. “The ones that stand out have stood true to their values and have unwavering integrity. The ones that have created an environment where people feel valued,” she says, adding that the first step to managing people is working out what kind of leader you wish to be.
“You can do all the professional training for your employees you possibly can. But at the end of the day if we’re forgetting the human factor, are you really looking after your people?” Zahra said. Being a great leader is to make room for a collective purpose. Ensuring employees are equipped with goals and directions to reach it often motivates productivity, not only as a team, but first as individuals.
6 Weeks To Rewiring Your Mindset
Based on research in Neuroplasticity, our brain has the ability to alter its neural network through growth and reorganization. When we change our mindset, we reorganize our brain’s neural network to a new path that will produce a unique outcome. The brain is designed to be efficient. Eventually, the newly chosen pathway becomes the path of least resistance and the old neural pathway loses its strength as resources are reallocated to the new pathway. This rewiring could be seen to peak at the 42-day mark, where it’ll show lasting change.
Zahra’s program, the R.E.W.I.R.E. System ™ utilizes the latest innovations to help individuals improve their performance. In her 6-week program, participants are equipped with tools to reach a mental, emotional, and physical alignment, reduce stress, anxiety and get into a state of flow in both life and work. Like developing a new habit, our effort in staying consistent with the new mindset will enable us to flourish. “The more we stay consistent, the more we hardwire that positive change.”
